Embracing Our Best Selves
I hope this message finds you well and filled with the warmth of the season. As we navigated through the final “winter month”, we had a wonderful time celebrating: “Being Our Best Self.”
Throughout this month, we focussed on celebrating kindness and encouraging each member of our school community to strive towards being their best selves. This theme is a reminder of the importance of personal growth and an invitation for us to support one another on this journey.
Our Winter Walk for Wellness highlighted the importance of staying active and connected as an integral part of being our best selves. This event was an opportunity to enjoy the crisp winter air, promote a healthy lifestyle and build a sense of community.
Our Valentine’s Day activities emphasized the power of love, compassion, and friendship. Our classrooms were filled with heartwarming projects promoting inclusivity and kindness.
Our month of kindness culminated with an amazing Family Dance where our school families came together, to share moments of joy, and create lasting memories. It was wonderful to see everyone out, over 200 guests, having a great time and showcasing the community spirit of New Sarepta. A huge thank you to Taylor Knopp who headlined the event and donated his fee to PIIE to support building a new playground.
Another huge thank you to all who participated in our recent Check up – Check in survey. Input from the community is invaluable as we work to continue providing an amazing, welcoming environment for our students, staff and families. Our school was awarded a prize of $500 as a result of the communities high level of participation.
By supporting one another, we contribute to creating a school environment where everyone feels valued and inspired to be their best self.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to making New Sarepta Elementary School a place of learning, growth, and community.
Wishing you all a March filled with warmth and kindness.
Sincerely,
Rob Froland

We ask that parents accompany their children when shopping or browsing during the evenings. Thank you once again for supporting this library fundraiser.
