NSES has Family Passes to the Leduc Recreation Centre for our families to borrow. A parent or guardian can reserved one at [email protected]. Passes can be borrowed for 1-week and will be loaned from Friday to Thursday. Lost/late passes may have a charge for replacement.

FAQ About Kindergarten?

How old does my child have to be?

Your child must be 5 years old as of December 31 of the respective school year.

When can I register?

We are accepting registration, online only, for the 2024-245school year now.

What days will my child go to school?

We offer two alternating full day programs: Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday, AND some scheduled Fridays.

What time will my child be at school?

Our Kindergarten students attend school from 8:35 am to 3:12 pm.
Students should arrive about five to ten minutes before starting times to avoid being late.

What will they do in Kindergarten?

Our Kindergarten program offers:
PLAY AND DISCOVERY LEARNING FOCUS
STRONG LANGUAGE AND READING INSTRUCTION
SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

How much does it cost?

Kindergarten fees are $100 and covers field trips and nutrition costs.  Once you have submitted your registration form, we will provide you with information on setting up a PowerSchool account where you can pay your Kindergarten Fee of $100.

How does my child get to school?

Transportation is the responsibility of the parent. Full day kindergarten students may be bussed on regular routes. Please call Black Gold at 780-955-6034 for more information and to arrange transportation or check out their transportation page.
