International Walk to School Month

Students and staff of New Sarepta Elementary School enjoyed a morning walk to start their school day for the entire week of October 5 – 9 to participate in International Walk to School Month.

Gr. 3 – 6 students from New Sarepta Elementary School participated in an Active Eskimos Challenge which required them to be active 60 minutes per day for 2 weeks. The school’s Cross Country Running Team competed in the District Championships on Wednesday, September 30, at Peace Hills Park in Wetaskiwin, and came away with some superb results. There were some fine individual performances with many of the students placing in the top 20 in their age category out of close to 100 athletes or more!  … Read more »

Our annual Terry Fox Run was  held on Wednesday, September 30th.  We called our fundraiser “Noodle the Cure” where students had an opportunity to pour a bucket of spaghetti on a teacher, and even the principal.
