NSES classrooms were decorated this season with creative endeavours by our students, staff, and parent volunteers! It was very impressive to see all classrooms display the spirit of Christmas and brighten up our school! Below are just a few of the amazing creations that adorned our doorways!
New Sarepta Elementary School’s School Council invited students, parents, and teachers to participate in their Gingerbread House Contest. Assembled and decorated gingerbread houses were brought into the school. Prizes were given for most original, most traditional, and best decorated. Super job, everyone! The displayed gingerbread houses added a festive touch to the hallway!
The NSES staff participated in a Teddy Bear gift exchange. All Teddy Bears will be re-homed to Victim Services this holiday season! We Wish You All A Very Merry Christmas & All The Best in 2016!

Operation Christmas Child The New Sarepta Elementary School is pleased to report that students, parents, staff and community members brought in a total of 130 Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes to send to less fortunate children around the world! Great work everyone! Merry Christmas!!
Our annual Remembrance Day assembly will be held on Wednesday, November 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the New Sarepta Community High School. Parents are welcome to attend. On Wednesday, October 28th, New Sarepta Elementary participated in “Take Me Outside” day by spending one hour outside. Students and staff of New Sarepta Elementary School enjoyed a morning walk to start their school day for the entire week of October 5 – 9 to participate in International Walk to School Month.
Gr. 3 – 6 students from New Sarepta Elementary School participated in an Active Eskimos Challenge which required them to be active 60 minutes per day for 2 weeks. The school’s Cross Country Running Team competed in the District Championships on Wednesday, September 30, at Peace Hills Park in Wetaskiwin, and came away with some superb results.
